How do I send an e-mail out?
Answer
To create a message to send to your users, click send a message on the right hand menu. This will create a new blank message editor screen. Insert your message, or type the message using the editor. Verify the Subject and From Line are correct.
A correct From Line has the following features My Company Newsletter <info@mydomain.com>. Please use a valid e-mail address. Be sure to enclose the e-mail address in the brackets. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes. This will save the message as a Draft. If you were to close your browser and return later, you can access the Draft by going to messages in the main menu, and selecting the Draft tab
Above the message, click the Format tab, verify the Send as option is set to HTML. Select your template from the list. If no template is yet created, the system will default to a blank template. Click Save Changes. From here you can send a test message to any e-mail currently in the system, by placing it in the textbox and selecting Send Test Message. You will receive two e-mails. One HTML, and one as text, for review.
Once you're satisfied the e-mail is correct, select the Lists tab. Select the List, or lists, you would like to send the message to, or use the following: All Lists will send to all lists currently in the system. All Active Lists will send to all lists currently marked as Active in red text. If you are pleased with your test message and are ready to send select Send Message to Selected Mailling Lists. This will queue the message for sending, which can be seen under messages, Queued Tab, however it WILL NOT send until you click the process the message queue link shown on the next page, or the process queue button in the left hand menu. With this procedure you can queue multiple e-mails, to send to different lists, one after the other, with only one click. Pressing the process queue button will process all messages in the queued tab in sequence.
