How do I remove secure authentication?

To remove secure authentication in Thunderbird
- Open Thunderbird
- Click on Tools->Account Settings...View Screenshot
- Click on Server Settings below your email account name.
- In the Security Settings under Use secure connection select Never View Screenshot
- Select Outgoing Server (SMTP) then mail.total1.net (Default) then click on Edit... View Screenshot
- Make sure Use name and password is checked. Enter or verify your User Name in the text box. Under Use secure connection select NoView Screenshot
- Click Ok to save your changes
