How do I Export Contacts from Outlook?

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Select Import and Export from the File menu. The Import and Export wizard will then open.
  3. From the list, you need to select Export to a file from the list. Select the Next button. View Screenshot
  4. Select Microsoft Excel from the list of file types. Select the Next button. View Screenshot
  5. Select Contacts from under Mailbox - Your Name. Select the Next button. View Screenshot
  6. Type the name of the Excel file you are going to create. View Screenshot
  7. Select the Browse button to make note of where on your hard drive the Excel file will be saved.
  8. Select the Next button.
  9. This last screen of the wizard shows you what action you are going to perform. If the appropriate item is checked, select the Finish button. View Screenshot
